This piece is currently hanging in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and was made possible by the incredible photographer behind Silver Lining Sydney. As just one example of their talent for photography, the original reference photo for this drawing was breathtaking; the man and his newborn daughter foregrounding the magnificent landscape held so much power, depth and detail (I’m not rushing to draw grass or checkered shirts again any time soon, but I am extremely happy with the way that this work turned out).
